Hi everyone, as the title states. I am writing to all of you to make a very important announcement.
I'll get right to the point!
I have been offered an amazing job, something that I can see myself working very hard on and fully dedicating myself to if I end up passing my "trial" period of employment. This job involves hand painting miniatures for tabletop war games like Warhammer 40k and stuff like that. It's a step in the right direction for me, and I immediately jumped on this opportunity when it was presented to me. I'm really hoping I can get past my trial and become a permanent asset to the business I'm working for.
I couldn't be happier! This job is going to give me everything I want, and will help me easily pay the bills and upgrade in life. The only thing is, it'll consume most of my time, because, well..I'll just have so much fun doing it!
So what does that mean for all of you loyal watchers?
Does that mean no more art?
No! It means more personal work between projects. I will still happily draw fan art, original work and other stuff between my jobs!
However, this means a permanent closure of commissions if I end up an established member of the painting team. This job is in my field, I'm surrounded by people I really like, and it'll make me more money than commissions would ever hope to make me at this point in life. So I'm taking the step forward to make this my main deal for a long while. It's my choice to happily work as I please. I will still draw but it will be for myself, or the occasional gift for friends, family, ect. Working two jobs, I just won't be able to squish commissions in between.
So closing them permanently is all I can do to make sure I still have time for myself, family, and other things between work.
Thanks for reading and I hope you all have a great night!
